Eric Toliver - Executive Associate Athletics Director of Compliance

Mr Eric Toliver enters his 26th year at UNLV and 18th year as the Executive Associate Athletics Director of Compliance after taking over the Director of NCAA Compliance duties midway through the 1998-99 school year.
A 1992 graduate of Western State College (Co.), Toliver's responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of NCAA regulations and conducting internal and external investigations to ensure that UNLV's 17 Division I sports, staff and coaches remain in compliance with NCAA regulations. Toliver, who is also an appointed member of the NCAA Division I Amateurism Fact- Finding Committee, is also responsible for supervision of the UNLV softball program and oversees all UNLV student-athlete conduct and discipline related matters. He also supervises the UNLV Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and serves as the chair of the institution's Compliance Committee.
Rebecca Pugh - Associate Athletics Director, Student-Athlete Academic Services
Rebecca Pugh is entering her fourth year as Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance & Student-Athlete Academic Services and her tenth year at UNLV. Pugh is directly responsible for monitoring and maintaining institutional compliance with the NCAA, Mountain West Conference (MWC), and University rules and regulations primarily related to amateurism, recruitment, eligibility, and financial aid. In addition, she is responsible for promoting the academic success and retention of all student-athletes participating in the intercollegiate athletics program. She oversees the day-to-day operations of Student-Athlete Academic Services.
Pugh started her path at UNLV as a student-athlete in the sport of softball in 2002. In 2007, she earned a B.S. in Physical Education K-12 with a Minor in Adapted Physical Education. In 2009, she earned a Master's Degree in Athletic Administration. She started her work experience in the UNLV athletics department as a Compliance Assistant in 2006 and from there went from Assistant Director in 2007 to Director for Compliance in 2010.
Erica Piurkowski - Director of Compliance
Erica Piurkowski began working in the compliance office in September of 2009. Prior to coming to UNLV, Erica spent time at Montana State University and The Summit League. Erica earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from Coe College in 2003 where she was a member of the soccer team. Additionally, Erica earned her master's degree in Sport Management from Western Illinois University in 2007. Erica's current primary responsibilities include overseeing camps and clinics, National Letter of Intent, Rules Education, Student-Athlete Assistance Fund, 5th Year Works Program, Practice & Playing season and recruitment.
Madison Rousell - Assistant Director of Compliance
Madison Rousell began working for UNLV Athletics in 2012 as a fifth-year works student and became the Graduate Assistant for Compliance in August 2013. Rousell graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor's degree in Meeting and Events Management and a Master's Degree in Public Administration.
Born in Fairbanks, Alaska and raised in Port Orchard, Washington, Rousell first came to UNLV in 2007 as a member and captain of the women's swimming team. During her time with the team she appeared in multiple MWC championship meets and was part of a record setting 200 free relay squad as a freshman. She was also a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee and continues to help with the group.
Kimberly Marano - Graduate Assistant
Kimberly Marano came to UNLV in the Fall of 2013. A transfer student from Slippery Rock University in Pittsburgh PA, she came in with primary experience in Basketball Operations. Looking to expand her knowledge in sports administration, she joined the Compliance Staff in November of 2013 as an Undergraduate Intern. She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies in May 2016 and is currently pursuing her Master's of Education degree in Higher Education with a concentration in Sport Administration. Her primary responsibilities include overseeing Student Athlete employment, monitoring recruiting logs, performing various auditing activities, as well as assisting with self-reports and NCAA waivers. In the Fall of 2014, Marano also began leading UNLV's new Drug Testing and Rehabilitation initiative.
Stefany Valentino - Graduate Assistant
Born and raised in Agoura Hills, California, Stefany Valentino came to UNLV in the Fall of 2010. During the next four years she competed as a member of the UNLV Softball Team. Her accolades include being a three time MWC All Conference team member and a two time All West Region team member. She graduated in 2014 with a bachelors of Health Science in Kinesiology. Stefany has been working with Compliance since August 2014, starting out as a member of the fifth year student works program. She is currently a graduate student working on her Masters of Public Administration.
