Athletics Media Relations Internship
Interested in a career in Sports Media? The UNLV Athletics Media Relations Office is looking for dedicated and committed students that have an interest in the athletics field for internships for both the fall and the spring semesters for the 2014-15 academic year.
Student interns for the UNLV Athletics Media Relations Office will be given the chance to work with several areas of a collegiate sports information office, including helping at home contests such as UNLV football and men's basketball, as well as several other areas of the athletic department's 17-sport program. Interns will have the chance to work on feature stories for UNLVRebels.com, research projects, assisting in the creation of game programs and other publications and design projects produced by the Athletics Media Relations Office, and to help with website maintenance for UNLVRebels.com, the official home of UNLV Rebel Athletics. There may be opportunities as well to work with the video side.
This internship, which is open only to UNLV students and is unpaid, can be used for class credit towards your academic program. Several former interns in our office have moved on in the field to full-time positions in college sports information.
For those interested or if you have any questions, please contact Mark Wasik, Assistant Athletics Media Relations Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org (702-895-3208).
