FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV Rebels began their first day at NCAA Diving E Zones on the campus of Northern Arizona in the Douglas J. Wall Aquatic Center in Flagstaff.
THE RUNDOWN - WOMEN:
On the 1M, senior Myka Fielding earned a score of 266.25 putting her in 14th place.
THE RUNDOWN - MEN:
On the 3M, freshman Jesse Cawley earned a score of 290.80, which put him into 15th place.
"Going into today we knew this was going to be everyone hardest events. I’m really happy with how Mykalla held her composure on 1 meter and cannot wait for her 3 meter performance. Jesse had his ups and downs today, but overall he did great for a freshman and he still has his best event (platform) yet to come. Robert has looked solid since we have been here and he is ready to compete 1 meter tomorrow!"
- DIVING COACH Landon Marzullo
Action continues tomorrow with the 1-meter for seniors Robert Morgan and Myka Fielding.
