UNLV posted a pair of top-20 finishes on the second day of action at the 2013 NCAA Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday. The three-day meet, which concludes on Saturday, is being held at the IU Natatorium.

The top finish of the day came from the 200 medley relay team of seniors Carmen Robb and Nakayla Chan and juniors Katelyne Herrington and Rachel Dixon. They would touch the wall in a time of 1:38.86 to place 19th, .52 seconds out of a spot in the night scoring heats, as the top 16 times advance from the morning sessions.

UNLV's other top-20 finish came from Herrington, who's bid for a second straight honorable mention All-American came up just short when she placed 19th in the 100 fly in 52.86, .32 seconds away from the night heats. Robb also swam in an individual event on Friday, coming in 22nd place in the 100 back after posting a time of 53.19, .35 seconds out of 16th place.
