The UNLV men's and women's swimming and diving team begins a three-meet homestand this weekend, as Arizona and Denver come to Las Vegas on Saturday, Oct. 27. Diving will start at Buchanan Natatorium at 12 pm, with the swimming events beginning at 2.

The UNLV men will be swimming its first competition of the year, and bring back its top swimmers in 13 of 14 individual events from a year ago, highlighted by senior Cody Roberts, a two-time Honorable Mention All-American. The Rebel women opened up the year at San Diego State, losing by a 146-143 score.
The Wildcats come in with a No. 5 ranking on the men's side. The women's rankings haven't been released yet by the CSCAA, but Arizona is coming off a season in which it placed fifth at the 2012 NCAA Championships. The team is 1-0 on the year after a season-opening win over Hawaii. Arizona's women's squad will host Washington State on Friday afternoon before traveling up to Las Vegas for Saturday's competition.
The Pioneer women opened the year with a 64-point win over Mountain West member Colorado State, while this will be the first meet of the year for the Denver men.

UNLV will host former MW rival BYU on Saturday, Nov. 3 at 2 pm in Buchanan Natatorium.
