Rebels Ranked No. 18, No. 25 This Week|

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's swimming and diving team is making appearances in two top-25 rankings, as the Rebels are No. 18 in the Endless Pools/CollegeSwimming.com Top 25, and come in at No. 25 in the CSCAA (College Swim Coaches Association of America) Top 25 poll, both of which were released on Wednesday.
UNLV is currently 1-1 on the season, with a win at Arizona State, and the lone loss coming on the road as well, at No. 18 Arizona. Several Rebels rank among the top swimmers in the nation, with four having posted top-16 times thus far in 2013-14. Dillon Virva is currently seventh in the nation in the 50 free with a time of 20.04, while Giacomo Gremizzi also has a top-10 time, ranked eighth in the 400 IM in 3:53.99. Balint Batka is 11th in the 200 fly (1:47.34) and David Dzele is 13th in the 100 breast (55.32). UNLV has a pair of relays in the top 16 as well, with the 200 free relay ranking sixth, and the 400 medley relay 12th in the nation.
UNLV returns to action next weekend with a pair of meets in the state of Utah, beginning with a Friday, Nov. 8 dual meet at Utah in Salt Lake City, starting at 5 pm (PT).
