HIGH SCHOOL: A 1996 graduate of Green Valley High School and played for coach Rodger Fairless and lettered two years in baseball and one year in basketball...the Gators captured two straight Nevada State Championships in baseball...Green Valley compiled records of 31-4 (1995) and 29-6 (1996) and in basketball were the Southern Nevada Zone Champions with a 29-4 record...as a senior, he was 5-2 with a 1.36 earned run average...pitched 41 innings and struck out 45...participant of the 1996 Southern Nevada Senior All-Star game...a Green Valley Scholar Athlete Award winner in 1996 and captured the most improved player award...he was a part of history in the state of Nevada for high school baseball as Green Valley captured four straight state championships (1993-96)...teammate A.C.
