Struck out a career-high 12 batters in the against San Diego State (March 21) and was named the Mountain West Pitcher of the Week for his performance against Central Michigan in week 1 ... Ranks No. 21 in the country and tied for first in the Mountain West in strikeouts with 82 as of May 5 ... Has made 41 career appearances on the mound for the Rebels, all starts, and became UNLV's Friday night starter as a freshman ... Has two complete games to his credit and has combined to shut out his opponents four times ... Sports a 21-10 overall career record to go with a 3.18 ERA and 231 strikeouts ... Has pitched in 263.1 innings and has held his opponents to a .247 average ... Named to the preseaon Golden Spikes Award watch list ... Left the Cape Cod league after pitching a league-high 30.2 innings and recording 26 strikeouts, which ranked third at the time ... Joined the USA Baseball Collegiate National Team on July 15 ...
