UNLV baseball and Nevada, Reno will battle for coveted Governor's Series points this weekend.

Went 6-5 with a 3.59 ERA in 15 starts as a true freshman for the Rebels ... Recorded the most innings pitched (90.1), strikeouts (66), starts (15) and wins (6) on the Rebels staff ... Was named to the All-Mountain West Second Team ... Earned 2012 Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America honors ... Struck out a season-high nine batters against Air Force on April 20 ... Pitched a season-high 8.0 innings in his first loss of the season to Nevada, Reno, 1-0 ... Had a 2.63 ERA heading into the Mountain West tournament ...
