Position: Volunteer Coach

Bob Fenn begins his second year as a volunteer coach for the UNLV baseball program and will help coach the outfielders and hitters, along with directing the Rebel baseball camps. Fenn, who spent past three years at UNC Asheville, brings a vast amount of coaching and playing experience to UNLV.

In his three seasons at UNC Asheville, the first two as a volunteer and the last one as a full-time assistant, Fenn worked with the outfielders, first basemen and hitters. He helped guide the Bulldogs to the 2006 Big South Conference Championship and a trip to the NCAA Tournament in the Clemson Regional. Fenn coached Kevin Mattison, who was selected in the 28th round of the 2008 MLB draft by the Florida Marlins.

Prior to joining the Bulldog staff, Fenn served as assistant baseball coach at his alma mater, Lander University, where he supervised instruction of the corner infielders and worked with hitters.
