Scheinbaum Named All-American
Aug. 1, 2003 LAS VEGAS - UNLV junior pitcher Ben Scheinbaum has been named to the 2003 College Baseball All-American Team by The Jewish Sports Review. He is one of seven pitchers named to the squad. Scheinbaum helped UNLV to a 47-17 record and a trip the NCAA Regionals. He compiled a 5-1 record with a 7.77 ERA in 23 appearances. He struck out 36 batters while walking only 16.
