Rebels Hold Annual World Series This Week

LAS VEGAS ( - The UNLV baseball team, which is fresh off Saturday’s 10-1 win over its alumni, will hold its annual World Series at Earl E. Wilson Stadium this week. The three-game set will begin Monday and continue Thursday and Friday. First pitch slated is for 9:20 am each day, and fans are encouraged to attend and admission is free.

The Scarlet & Gray will be split in two with Nick Ames and Bryson Stott leading “Thing 1,” while Kyle Isbel and Nick Rodriguez will skipper “Thing 2.”

“Thing 1” will be comprised of Blaze Bohall, Evan Fresquez, Tevita Gerber, Zach Kaminkow, Michael Macove, Donavon McCrystal, Bryan Menendez, Seth Mullis, Christian Myers, Garrett Poole, Grant Robbins, Max Smith, Alan Strong, Caleb Summerhays, Corey Wilson and Conner Woods as well as Ames and Stott.



Isbel and Rodriguez’s “Thing 2” squad will consist Austin Anderson, Zach Barnhart, Bryce Bullock, Connor Clark, Ryan Hare, Trevor Horn, Chris Joaquim, Dillon Johnson, Chase Maddux, Casey Miller, Larry Quaney, Paul Richy, Jacob Rogers, Cameron Sepede, Vince Taormina and Jack Wold.
