Hunter begins his third season with the Runnin' Rebels ... had off-season surgery to repair injured Achilles ... sat out the 2001-02 season after transferring from Georgetown.

JUNIOR (2002-03)

Played sparingly after injuring his Achilles (team was 11-2 when injury occurred) ... played in 28 games and started 17 ... averaged 7.2 points per game ... shot 41.7 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from 3-point range and 55.0 percent from the free throw line ... was 11th in the Mountain West Conference in 3-point field goal percentage and 3-point field goals made ... was second on the team in 3-point field goal percentage, fourth in assists, fifth in scoring, sixth in steals and seventh in rebounding ... scored in double figures in nine games, with his best performance coming at New Mexico as he scored a career-high 24 points on 9-of-15 from the field including 6-of-10 from 3-point range ... was named the MVP of the Jim Thorpe Classic ... selected as the MWC's top newcomer entering the season by the league's media.
