Lewis begins his third season with the Runnin' Rebels ... he sat out the 2001-02 season with a medical redshirt because of a knee injury ... shares the mark for best three-point percentage in a game in Runnin' Rebel history as he made 5-of-5 from three-point range vs. New Mexico on Jan. 22, 2001 (two other Rebels have made 5-of-5 3-pointers in a game - Stacey Augmon and Freddie Banks).

Sat out season after having surgery to repair a torn right ACL.

JUNIOR (2000-01)

Named MWC Player of the Week on Jan. 29 ... appeared in 26 games, starting 12, and averaged 9.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per game ... shot .410 from the field, .353 from 3-point range and .492 from the free throw line ... was 13th in the Mountain West Conference in 3-pointers made and 23rd in scoring ... was third on the team in steals, fourth in scoring, tied for fifth in rebounding and sixth in assists ... recorded one double-double in points and rebounds, scored in double figures 10 times and had double figures in rebounding once ... he tied for the best three-point percentage in a game in the MWC when he went 5-of-5 from three-point range vs. New Mexico ... tore his right ACL in practice on Feb. 26 and missed the final two games of the season.

JUNIOR COLLEGE

A 2000 graduate of Kilgore (Texas) Junior College ... as a sophomore he averaged 26.0 points, 8.0 rebounds and 2.5 steals ... was first team All-Texas Eastern Conference, first team all-region and second team All-America ... he shot .470 (253-for-538) from the field and .371 (118-for-318) from three-point range ... shot .659 (87-for-132) free throws ... the team was 25-5 under coach Scott Schumaker as it won the conference championship ... as a freshman he played with former Runnin' Rebels Sylvester Dotson and Trevor Diggs.
