LAS VEGAS (AP) - Kevin Olekaibe scored 18 points, including the go-ahead 3-pointer, to lift UNLV to a 73-69 comeback win over Boise State on Saturday night.
Trailing most of the game, UNLV (15-7, 6-3 Mountain West) used a 17-2 run in the final minutes to erase an 11-point deficit and slip past Boise State for the win. Khem Birch contributed 15 points, grabbed 15 rebounds, had six blocks and was 7-of-9 from the free-throw line, while Dejean-Jones added 11 points for the Runnin' Rebels, who now have won four straight games.
Both teams shot comparably from the field but UNLV made 17 more free throws than Boise State did.
