Rebels Overcome Halftime Deficit To Defeat Utah 65-58

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Louis Amundson scored 24 points and Curtis Terry added 14 Wednesday as the UNLV Rebels beat Utah 65-58.

Utah led 27-23 at halftime, but the Rebels opened the second half with a 24-6 run, taking the lead for good on a Terry 3-pointer with 14 minutes left in the game. Amundson scored 11 points during the spurt, including five straight to open the half.

Utah (12-13, 5-9) cut the lead to 54-50 with 2:50 to play after Johnnie Bryant made 3-pointers on consecutive possessions. But the Rebels (15-10, 9-4) made 11-of-14 foul shots in the final two minutes to seal the win and remain in a third place tie with BYU in the Mountain West Conference.

Bryant led Utah with 20 points and 10 rebounds and Luke Nevill added 12 points.
