FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) -- Wink Adams and Curtis Terry each scored 16 points as UNLV held on to beat Northern Arizona 83-74 Wednesday night.

UNLV (6-2) led by as many as 22 points in the first half, but saw its lead cut to eight with 26.7 seconds left in the game on a free throw from NAU's Kyle Landry.

The Lumberjacks (4-4) were forced to foul to stop the clock and the Runnin' Rebels responded, going 6-for-6 from the free-throw line to seal the game.

Matt Shaw and Joe Darger both finished with 14 points for UNLV.

Landry and Josh Wilson led NAU with 15 points each and Landry also had 11 rebounds. Nate Geiser added 12 points and Ryan McCurdy 10 for the Lumberjacks.
