'Pack The Mack' Saturday

LAS VEGAS - The UNLV Athletics Department has announced that its men's basketball game against Wyoming on Saturday, Jan. 17, which starts at 7 p.m., will be its annual "Pack The Mack" Night and is offering balcony tickets for that game for just $7.
Fans are encouraged to use the "print at home" feature when purchasing tickets online at UNLVtickets.com. The "print at home" feature is a very convenient benefit to customers as it eliminates waiting in line to purchase or pick up tickets at the ticket office.
Tickets may also purchased by calling 702-739-FANS or by visiting the Thomas & Mack Center ticket office.
Also, it was announced that the Runnin' Rebels will host a Kids' Festival at the Cox Pavilion prior to their Saturday, Jan. 24 game vs. Utah. The festival will begin at 11 a.m. and continue until shortly before the game tips off at 1 p.m.
Kids will be able to meet student-athletes from nearly every UNLV sports program and participate in special activities and games during the festival. The activities include bounce houses, face painting, balloon artists, music and more. The UNLV baseball and softball teams will also be available for autographs. Parents are encouraged to bring cameras to the festival as well for photograph opportunities, which will include UNLV's mascot Hey Reb.
Admission to the Kids' Festival at Cox Pavilion is free with a paid admission to the basketball game.
At halftime of the Utah game, a mascot basketball game will be featured as Hey Reb, Lil' Reb, Ronald McDonald, The Duke (Las Vegas Wranglers), Cosmo (Las Vegas 51s) and others will take to the court.
Rebel Fun Packs are available and include four balcony tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for just $50. Additionally, group tickets are available for $9, $8 and $7. For group ticket information, please call 702-895-1223.
The Runnin' Rebels are 13-3 overall and 1-1 in Mountain West Conference play. UNLV will play at Colorado State on Wednesday before returning to the Thomas & Mack Center for Saturday's game.
