No. 21/20 UNLV Hosts Air Force Saturday At 1 PM

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The No. 21/20 UNLV men's basketball team (23-6, 7-4 Mountain West) defeated Boise State, 75-58, at the Thomas & Mack Center on Wednesday. It was UNLV's 14th win in a row at the T&M, a streak that ranks 13th in the country.
The Runnin' Rebels will now host Air Force on Saturday, Feb. 25, at 1 p.m. in a game televised on NBC Sports Network with Ted Robinson and Blaine Fowler calling the action. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio broadcast, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM. The radio broadcast is also available at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature, while Gametracker is provided for free on the website.
Saturday is Kids Day at the Thomas & Mack Center with $5 balcony tickets available for kids 12-and-under (if purchased prior to the day of the game, while supplies last and with the purchase of a ticket at regular price). In addition, a pregame kids festival featuring activities, giveaways and a scheduled mascot basketball game will be held in the Cox Pavilion from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Entry to the festival is free with a ticket to the game.
UNLV is currently in a tie for second place in the Mountain West with No. 24/25 San Diego State, just one game back of league-leading No. 18/21 New Mexico with three regular-season games left on the schedule. UNLV has won seven of its last 10 games and 14 of 18. Four of its six losses this year are two teams that are currently ranked in both top-25 polls. The Runnin' Rebels are ranked for the 11th week this season, their highest total number of weeks in the polls since 1992-93.
UNLV is 27-8 all-time against Air Force, including 17-1 at home. The Runnin' Rebels have won six straight against the Falcons at the Thomas & Mack Center.
