No. 17 Runnin' Rebels At CSU Wednesday Night

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The No. 17 UNLV men's basketball team (24-6, 8-4 Mountain West), winner of two straight games and in a three-way tie for first place in the Mountain West, will travel to Fort Collins, Colo., to face Colorado State (17-10, 6-6) on Wednesday, Feb. 29, at 8:15 p.m. MST/7:15 p.m. PST. The Rams are 13-1 at home this year and have a 12-game win streak at Moby Arena, which is tied for the 14th-longest in the country.
Wednesday's game will be televised on CBS Sports Network with Todd Harris and Steve Lappas calling the action. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio broadcast, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM. The radio broadcast is also available at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature, while Gametracker is provided for free on the website.
In its last two outings, UNLV defeated Boise State (75-58) on Feb. 22, and Air Force (68-58) on Saturday to remain undefeated at home this year and run its Thomas & Mack Center win streak to 15 games, which ranks 11th in the nation. The Runnin' Rebels are 16-0 at home for the first time since 1989-90.
UNLV has won eight of its last 11 games and 15 of 19. Three of its six losses this year are to teams that are currently ranked in both top-25 polls, with a fourth to a team receiving votes in both polls. The Runnin' Rebels are ranked for the 12th week this season (11 consecutive), their highest total number of weeks in the polls since 1992-93.
UNLV is 33-9 all-time against Colorado State, including 14-5 in Fort Collins. The Runnin' Rebels have won two straight games at Moby Arena and six of their last seven.
