LAS VEGAS ( - UNLV Athletics conducted surveys a couple of months ago asking Runnin’ Rebel basketball fans for their opinions on the gameday experience at the Thomas & Mack Center.

Just as it was prior to this year’s football season, the goal was to learn what fan preferences were and where enhancements could be made in terms of the gameday experience, engagement and atmosphere in the arena. UNLV listened carefully and reviewed all feedback to determine what improvements would have the most impact.

The FANtastic 7 for UNLV men’s basketball has been announced – seven initiatives that will be implemented over the course of the 2017-18 season.

“We want to continually enhance the gameday experience and create memories for all of our fans at our events,” said Desiree Reed-Francois, UNLV’s Director of Athletics. “We appreciate all of the feedback we received through our surveys and are working to make the fan experience the best it can be. Our goal is that each season incremental changes will be noticed.”
