UNLV: A three-star recruit according to Scout.com and 247Sports.com, which also listed him as the No. 40 pro-style QB in the nation and No. 99 overall recruit in the state of California ... Made news earlier in the summer when he was honored with one of several annual Warren Moon Scholarships but requested that his funds be awarded to another deserving student because of his scholarship to UNLV ... Was still honored by the Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback along with the other winners on June 6 in Las Vegas.
