Rebels Tripped Up By Houston

UNLV got off to an early lead, but a strong second half performance gave Houston the win.

UNLV: An accomplished, veteran pass-rusher who transferred from the University of Washington in time for the 2014 season ... Joined the squad on Aug. 8 after being accepted into the graduate program at UNLV ... Will pursue his master's degree in public administration after earning his bachelor's in June from UW ... Eligible to play immediately as a fifth-year graduate transfer ... Will look to earn time in the Rebel defensive line rotation this fall.

Made seven total tackles, including three sacks, in the Huskies' win over Illinois in Chicago ... Turned in a tackle for loss and forced a fumble that was returned for a touchdown in the win over Colorado.
