UNLV vs. WISCONSIN GAME NOTES 9-8-07
-Tonight's attendance of 38,250 is the third-biggest UNLV home crowd in history. It also marks the fourth sellout for a UNLV game at Sam Boyd Stadium, with all four coming against the Badgers. The other two games with higher attendance between the Rebels and the Badgers included temporary bleachers in the end zone.

The Sam Boyd Stadium record was the 44,615 fans that watched BYU defeat Oregon in last year's Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl.
-The crowd was also the fourth sellout in UNLV history, with all four coming against the Badgers. The two teams met in 1986 before the stadium expansion, drawing a crowd of 32,207.
-The No. 5 ranked Badgers were the highest-ranked team to play in Sam Boyd Stadium and in the city of Las Vegas, besting the No. 6 BYU Cougars, who won the 1996 WAC Championship at Sam Boyd Stadium.
-The No. 5 Badgers are also the second-highest ranked team to play UNLV and the highest-ranked team to play the Rebels at home. UNLV played at No. 2 Tennessee in 1996.
-Over the last 14 quarters of play, Wisconsin has scored only three offensive touchdowns against UNLV, dating back to the 2002 season. Wisconsin scored a single touchdown in 2004 to go with its pair of scores tonight.
-Travis Dixon's five-yard TD pass to WR Casey Flair in the first quarter was the first scoring pass in Dixon's career. Dixon finished with 258 yards on 23-36 passing.
-Casey Flair's reception in the first quarter marked the 25th consecutive game in which the junior receiver has made a reception. He has now made a reception in every game of his Rebel career.
-Flair finished the game with career highs of 10 catches and 128 yards, to go with his touchdown reception. The 128 yards marked the third time in his career that he surpassed the century mark. It was the third time in the last 10 games that he reached at least 100 yards receiving.
-Dixon threw his first career interception in the fourth quarter, the first pick in 46 career passing attempts.
-Senior PK Sergio Aguayo and Lou Groza Award Candidate was good on both of his field goal attempts (25 and 35 yards) vs. Wisconsin to improve to a perfect 5-5 on the season.
-Wisconsin PK Taylor Mehlhaff's 51-yard field goal at 12:22 in the fourth quarter was the first field goal of 50-plus yards against the Rebels since 2004. Matt Payne of BYU kicked a 50-yard field goal.
-UNLV saw its modest two-game winning streak ended and fell to 2-8 all-time vs. the Big Ten.
-The Rebels fell to 25-15 all-time in home openers.
