UNLV Falls To West Virginia, 49-10

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - Geno Smith threw three touchdown passes to Brad Starks, Noel Devine rushed for two scores and quick-strike West Virginia beat UNLV 49-10 on Saturday.

Starks came up big after having no catches in the Mountaineers' first four games. His three TD catches tied a school record held by two others. Starks finished with four catches for 100 yards. He had two scores all of last season.

Devine, returning from a right toe injury, finished with 84 yards on just three carries, all in the first half. He had scoring runs of 28 and 48 yards.
