LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Three UNLV football players have earned preseason first team all-conference honors from two preview publications.

Lindy's 2014 All-MW Team and Phil Steele's 2014 Preseason All-MW Team both include senior wide receiver Devante Davis, senior offensive tackle Brett Boyko and senior center Robert Waterman on their first-team lists. Davis and Boyko both were named Second Team All-Mountain West after last season while Waterman earned All-MW honorable mention three times.

The trio tied UNLV with Colorado State for the most representatives on the Lindy's first team offense and with Fresno State for the most on Phil Steele's first team offense.

Senior cornerback Kenneth Penny was on both publications' second team while junior safety Peni Vea joined him on Phil Steele's second team.

Phil Steele's list went four teams deep and senior Marcus Sullivan was named to the third team as a kick returner and fourth team as a wide receiver. Junior offensive lineman Andrew Oberg was also on the fourth team.

Davis was also named the league's Most Dangerous Deep Threat and Boyko its Best Pass Blocker by Lindy's.
