July 23, 2013
LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The Mountain West Network on Tuesday announced its initial digital telecast schedule for the 2013 football season and three of the games include UNLV.
The Rebels' game hosting Central Michigan Sept. 14 will part of a series of five Saturday contests that will be streamed live exclusively on the Mountain West Network.
The MWN will also carry UNLV's conference games at Fresno State (Oct. 19) and vs. San Jose State for Homecoming (Nov. 2).
In addition to these five MW network-produced games, the MWN will also retain the digital streaming rights to the 10 previously-announced ROOT SPORTS football telecasts. Digital streams of those games will be made available on the MWN in those areas that fall outside both the ROOT SPORTS Rocky Mountain and Northwest territories, and any additional markets for which the games have been sublicensed to local cable or broadcast networks. The MWN will also endeavor to carry streams from the games that currently remain untelevised and may be produced or streamed by the host institution or a local television provider.
