LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's golf team will be back in action Monday, Oct. 9, and Tuesday, Oct. 10, at the Jerry Pate National Intercollegiate, which will be played at Old Overton Country Club (par 70, 7,209 yards) in Vestavia Hills, Ala.

THE FIELD: The 12-team field includes host Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, BYU, Charlotte, Michigan, Mississippi State, Samford, South Alabama, UAB and UNLV.

THE FORMAT: The 54-hole stroke-play tournament will consist of 36 holes (first and second rounds) on Monday and 18 holes (final round) on Tuesday.

TEE TIMES: Play will begin on Monday at 7:30 a.m. CT. The Rebels are scheduled to begin the event at hole No. 1 starting at 8:20 a.m. CT.

THE LINEUP: Competing for UNLV will be senior Shintaro Ban, junior Harry Hall, freshman Jack Trent, sophomore Justin Kim and freshman J.J. Gresco.

LAST YEAR: UNLV (+1) finished second as a team at last year's JPNI, just one shot back of team champion Auburn (E). Alabama has won the event in eight of the last 11 years.

THIS YEAR: This will be UNLV's fourth tournament of the fall. The Rebels have finished fourth on two occasions (Gene Miranda Falcon Invitational in Colorado, William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in New Mexico).
