UNLV men's tennis junior Richard Solberg earns honor after going 4-0 over the weekend to lead the Rebels to a pair of Mountain West victories.

UNLV baseball junior Nick Ames earns the honor after hitting .500 with three home runs and eight RBI in three Rebel wins over the weekend.

(2017 - Senior): Missed 4 games due to suspension. Posted 15 goals on the season with 6 assists. Had 3 game winning goals. Made the 2017 First Team All-WAC. Was WAC Preseason Player of the Year. Led the WAC in points, goals, goals per game, and points per game. Named WAC Offensive Player of the Year.

(2016 - Junior): Missed five games in the first month with a leg injury, but bounced back to claim first team all-WAC honors as well as second team all-region recoginition after posting 30 points off 12 goals and six assists ... For the third straight year was named the WAC Tournament MVP after scoring both goals in UNLV's 2-1 victory over Air Force in the WAC championship game ... His performance in the WAC Tournament (two goals, two assists, six points, one game-winner) also earned him National Player of the Week honors from Top Drawer Soccer, while he was named to the National Team of the Week by both Top Drawer Soccer and College Soccer News ... Named to the WAC All-Tournament Team for the second time in three years as well ... Posted three two-score games on the season, coming in a 3-1 win over CSU Bakersfield, a 3-2 win over Air Force, and the 2-1 victory over the Falcons in the WAC Tournament, and all three games resulted in game-winners for him as well ... Posted 30+ points for the second straight season with 12 goals and six assists ... was a Hermann Trophy Watchlist nominee in the preseason.

(2015 - Sophomore): Became the first sophomore in team history to earn All-American honors, as he was named second team by NSCAA and third team by TopDrawerSoccer and College Soccer News ... 2015 WAC Offensive Player of the Year ... NSCAA All-West Region and All-WAC First Team selection ... Scored 14 goals, the most by a Rebel since 1990, tied for ninth-best in a season and ranked sixth in the nation ... Paced the WAC in the regular season total points with 34, which tied for fourth-highest in the nation and the eighth-best mark in a UNLV season ... Notched seven game-winning goals, tied for the second-highest mark in the nation, with five of them coming in one-goal victories, three in the final five minutes of the contest.

(2014 - Freshman): Turned in one of the most outstanding freshman seasons in program history ... Finished second on the team with 18 points, just one point behind WAC Offensive Player of the Year and MLS draftee Salvador Bernal ... His six goals were second best on the team, while he tied for the team lead and was tied for fifth in the league as well with six assists ... Named both WAC Tournament MVP and to the all-tournament team after leading UNLV to the championship title ... Factored in all three goals in the 3-0 semifinal win over UMKC, thanks to a score, an assist, and drawing a PK ... Converted a penalty kick in the championship shootout won by UNLV against Bakersfield ... That weekend performance also earned him NSCAA National Player of the Week honors (Nov. 18) ... Named to the College Soccer News Team of the Week after scoring a pair of goals and adding an assist in UNLV's 3-1 win at Seattle (Oct. 10) ... Finished with two game-winners, against UC Riverside (Sept. 28) and Air Force (Oct. 17) ... Played in all 22 games with 16 starts.

High School: Named both the Nevada Gatorade Player of the Year and the Las Vegas Review-Journal Soccer Athlete of the Year following his junior season ... Set both the Nevada high school (large-school) single-season (58) and career records (128) for goals in 2013 ... Received All-Southern Nevada, All-Sunrise Region and All-Southeast League honors as a senior while also being named the Southeast League Player of the Year ... Led the Patriots to the state playoffs for the first time in school history as a junior, and a No. 3 ranking in the city his senior season.

Club: Member of Las Vegas Sports Academy since 2006 ... Helped team to seven state championships.
