LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's soccer team scored twice in the second half to rally for a 2-2 tie with Germany's Borussia Monchengladbach on Tuesday night in front of 500 fans at Peter Johann Memorial field.

On a cold and windy night, the Rebels saw the visitors from Germany score the first goal with 10 minutes left in the first half. Borussia Monchengladbach would add to its lead with a score early in the second half to make the game 2-0.

Sophomore and Las Vegas native Ricky Abrego brought the Rebels into the game, scoring with about 20 minutes left to cut the margin to 2-1. Senior Lamar Neagle then slipped a shot past the Borussia goalkeeper for a 2-2 game, and it would end in a draw.

UNLV will next play on Saturday, Feb. 21, against the Tyneside Soccer Club on Kellog Zaher Complex at 1 pm.
