Rebels, US Youth Soccer Team Up For Festival|

LAS VEGAS - On Saturday, March 3, the UNLV men's and women's soccer programs and US Youth Soccer of Nevada will join with TOPSoccer for the 1st Annual TOPSoccer Kick-off Festival. The TOPSoccer program is dedicated to providing soccer opportunities to athletes with mental and/or physical disabilities.
The event and all sessions are free to any athletes with special needs and no previous soccer experience is necessary, and in addition to March's event, three more sessions will be held in April.
The event will be run by volunteers including the coaches and players from the UNLV men's and women's teams. The focus of the event is fun, and each participant will be awarded a medal for coming out and playing. Raffle tickets will be sold during the day with all proceeds going to the United States Youth Soccer TOPSoccer Program.
The Fest will run from 10 am to Noon on Saturday, March 3rd at the Peter Johann Soccer Field on the campus of UNLV. The additional free soccer sessions will also be held at UNLV on April 7, 14, 28, 2007.
