Hauck, Ryerson Receive Contract Extensions
Sept. 8, 2011
LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The NHSE Board of Regents on Thursday voted to approve a two-year contract extension for UNLV football head coach Bobby Hauck, and a one-year, sixth-month contract extension (two seasons), for UNLV men's soccer head coach Rich Ryerson.
Hauck, who is currently in his second year coaching the Rebels, is now signed through the 2014 season. He was hired as UNLV's 10th head football coach in history on Dec. 23, 2009. Ryerson is also in his second year coaching the Rebels and is signed through the 2012 season. He was hired as UNLV's fifth head men's soccer coach in history on April 7, 2010.
"We are thrilled to have Bobby Hauck leading this program and the extension just further stabilizes UNLV football as it moves forward," said UNLV Director of Athletics Jim Livengood. "We are also very fortunate to have Rich Ryerson, a former UNLV student-athlete, heading up our men's soccer program. We appreciate the support of the Board of Regents for recognizing these two excellent coaches."
