UNLV Nike Invitational Begins On Friday|

The UNLV men's soccer team (3-1) is back at home to host the UNLV Nike Invitational after splitting a pair of road games last weekend. Suffering its first loss on Sunday, 2-0 to Cal State Northridge, the Rebels will look to get back on a win streak by hosting Gonzaga on Friday night at 7 pm, and Oral Roberts on Sunday at 1 pm.
Senior defender John Crawley scored his first career game winning goal this past weekend in the Rebels' 1-0 shutout at Cal State Fullerton on Friday night, which gave UNLV its third-ever 3-0 start to a season. Leading the Rebels this season is sophomore forward Daniel Cruz with three goals for six points.
Gonzaga is coming off a hard fought game against Oregon State that ended in a tie. The Bulldogs were led by goalkeeper Scott Barnum who recorded a shutout in his first start as keeper. Barnum had seven saves in the tie against the Beavers. The Bulldogs are also looking for their first win of the season as they bring a 0-1-1 record into the tournament.
The Golden Eagles are fresh off its first win of the season, as ORU shutdown Belmont 3-0 over the weekend. Senior midfielder Carlos Pinto scored once in the game and has a team-high two goals this season for Oral Roberts, which stands at 1-2 this year.
