LAS VEGAS - UNLV senior forward Lamar Neagle earned his first weekly honors of the season, as he was named Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Brine Co-Player of the Week, it was announced on Monday. Neagle shared this week's award with Air Force's Steve Noller. This is Neagle's second career MPSF weekly honor.

Neagle, a native of Federal Way, Wash., scored all three of UNLV's goals over the weekend to help the Rebels to a second place finish in the USF BMW/Nike Classic in San Francisco. Against the host San Francisco squad on Friday, Neagle scored an early second half goal to give UNLV an early 1-0 lead, and the Rebels held on for a 1-1 double-overtime tie. On Sunday, with the Rebels trailing by one with less then seven minutes to play, Neagle scored back-to-back goals just 29 seconds apart to give UNLV a 2-1 victory over St. Mary's.

With the three goals, he has now scored in four straight games, and has moved into a tie for ninth place at UNLV for all-time career goals with 23.

UNLV (5-2-1) will have the rest of the month off before returning to play with its MPSF opener at Air Force on Friday, Oct. 3 at 6 pm.
