UNLV men's soccer weekly release

The UNLV men's soccer team ends the regular season on Friday night, hosting CSU Bakersfield at 7 pm on the Rebels' Senior Night at Peter Johann Memorial Field.

UNLV is 4-5 in league play, and has clinched a spot in next week's 2012 MPSF Tournament, held in Albuquerque. The Rebels currently stand in sixth place, but could finish as high as the fourth seed if they win on Friday night, combined with losses or ties by Denver and San Jose State. In the first meeting this year, the Roadrunners handed UNLV a 5-1 loss in Bakersfield on Sept. 29. The game will be webcast on, thanks to the student-run UNLV TV production. It will be the final home game for five seniors, Nick Marshall, Mike Mota, Robert Garcia, Jonny Espinoza, Eddie Vega, while redshirt junior Ryan Robertson will also be honored as he is graduating next Spring.
