LARAMIE, Wyo. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's and women's swimming and diving teams split a Mountain West Conference dual meet with Wyoming on Saturday afternoon, as the 16th-ranked Rebel men (7-1, 4-0 MWC) posted a 161-133 win, while the Wyoming women topped UNLV (5-7, 4-3) by a 187-113 score.

UNLV also won the final event, the 400 free relay, thanks to the team of Nelms, Charlie Tapp, Calan Eldridge and Seiler that posted a swim of 3:06.50.

Individual wins for the men came from John Mendoza in the 500 free (4:41.66) and in the 1000 free (9:47.66), Roberts in the 100 back (50.13) and the 100 fly (49.13), David Szele in the 100 breast (56.73), Tapp in the 50 free (20.70) and Nelms in the 100 free (46.49).

On the women's side, Jessica Heim swept the distance events for the Rebels, winning the 500 free in 5:11.01 and the 1000 free in 10:46.53. Other winners were Anja Crawford in the 200 back (2:04.92), Orsolya Tompa in the 100 fly (57.28), and Mariah Skeen on the 1-meter board (290.48).
