Rebels Drop Home Opener To LMU|

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team lost a close doubles point and couldn’t come back in singles as it lost its home opener to LMU 4-0 in the first of two matches Friday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
On a gorgeous Las Vegas morning, the Rebels dropped to 1-2 while the Lions of the West Coast Conference improved to 2-1.
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Courtney Lock teamed with Alexandr Cozbinov to win at the top of the doubles lineup and then took the first set in his singles match vs. Errol Smith on court four. That match was in the third set when it was halted.
STAT OF THE MATCH: UNLV won the first set on four singles matches but could not close out any of the second sets of those contests.
NEXT FOR THE REBELS: UNLV takes on UC Riverside in the second half of a Friday doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.
