SAN DIEGO, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team recorded a 4-3 road victory Friday at the Skip & Cindy Hogan Tennis Center.

The UNLV men's tennis team recorded a 4-3 road victory Friday at the Skip & Cindy Hogan Tennis Center. With their sixth consecutive victory, the Rebels improved to 17-7 overall while the Toreros fell to 13-10.

UNLV forged a key 1-0 lead by taking the two completed doubles matches. Adam Gage-Brown and Ruben Alberts downed Gui Osorio and Joel Gamerovs 6-1 at the second position while Alexandr Cozbinov and Richard Solberg beat Guus Koevermans and Pratt Keerasuntonpong 6-2 on court three to clinch it.

Moving to singles play, UNLV edged the Toreros by winning half of the six matches to secure the win. Cozbinov clinched it by defeating Osorio 6-1, 6-7 (12), 6-3, at No. 2; Solberg earlier defeated Joel Gamerov 6-3, 7-6 (4) at No. 5; and Charlie Croxford breezed by Alexandros Araouzos 6-3, 6-2 on court six.

The Rebels will close out their regular-season campaign with conference opponent San Diego State on Saturday at 11 am PT.
