LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Las Vegas product Brendan Aguilar has signed a national letter of intent to play men's tennis at UNLV beginning this fall, head coach Owen Hambrook announced Tuesday.
Aguilar is homeschooled but did compete for a time for the Bonanza High School tennis team. He is ranked by the Tennis Recruiting Network as the No. 3 recruit in the state of Nevada and No. 83 in the nation in 2012.
"We are really excited to sign Brendan," said Hambrook. "Bringing in someone from Las Vegas is great for the program. He is one of the top juniors in the USTA Intermountain Section and we are excited that he has chosen to stay home and be a part of the Rebel tennis program."
