Rally Falls Just Short Against Wyoming

UNLV falls 64-60 to Cowgirls after coming back from 15 points down in the second half.

ABOUT AMANDA...

Has a good shooting touch and can knock down jumpers from 15-20 feet out ... Versatile player that can run the floor well and will also go inside and fight for rebounds ... Is very strong defensively and possesses a good reach as well.

(2012-13 - RS Junior): Started the first three games of her career ... Finished the year with 104 points and 10 rebounds, 22 assists, 18 blocks, 17 steals, and 15 made three-pointers ... Posted new career-high in rebounds with nine against Wyoming (2/23) ... Hit two treys in road win at New Mexico (2/9), added two blocks and six rebounds ... Connected on career-high tying three treys for a season-high nine points against Montana (11/24) ... Made her first career start against Maine (11/17), and posted four points and six rebounds in the contest.

(2011-12 - Junior):Redshirted the season.

(2010-11 - Sophomore): Played in 17 games during the season ... Posted 14 points, 13 rebounds, three assists, and a block and a steal ... Her best game of the year came at home against SMU (12/20), as she scored seven points, all in the first half, and also added three rebounds.

(2009-10 - Freshman):Played in all 31 games ... Averaged 2.5 points and 1.4 rebounds off the bench ... Also added 14 steals and five blocks ... Recorded seven points and four rebounds in her return to her home state in UNLV's game at TCU (2/23) ... Poured in a season-high 11 points and hit the game-winning shot with 3.4 seconds left in UNLV's 77-76 win at Air Force (1/26) ... Notched 10 points and hit two treys in 15 minutes of play against Hawaii (12/20) ... Scored nine points and posted three steals against Bradley (11/29) ... Hit two treys and grabbed four rebounds against Boise State (11/28) ... Scored her first career points as she hit two jumpers for four points in two minutes of action against No. 4 North Carolina (11/22).

High School:Four-year starter for the Highlanders, and helped them to one district championship and to the state playoffs her final two seasons ... Was a three-time first team all-district selection, and twice named the district offensive player of the year ... As a senior, was named third team all-state as well as all-county and all-conference ... Twice named team MVP, and team captian as a senior ... Top 10 in the state for blocks per game in 2007-08 ... Also played for the volleyball team her freshman season ... In the summer of 2008, played guard for the Cy-Fair Shock AAU team based out of Houston, and helped them to a fourth-place finish in the Nike Nationals as well as to three other tournament championships.
