QUOTABLE:
"We got more comfortable in the second half. We let up in the first half and they kept coming at us. Hofstra is much better then their record, and they were pushing the ball up and down the court, this was east coast basketball. I felt we adjusted well to them after halftime though. We have some many options and we used different combinations in the second half, but I know we can play better basketball and I feel better things are still ahead for us."
- UNLV Head Coach Kathy Olivier.

REBEL NOTES:
* Katie Powell recorded her fourth double-double in as many games with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
* Paris Strawther paced UNLV with 16 points and added eight rebounds.
* Also in double-figures for UNLV was Brooke Johnson with 10.
* UNLV has started the year 4-0 for the third straight season.
