Lady Rebels In AFAN AIDS Walk 
The returning Lady Rebels participated in the AFAN AIDS Walk at the World Market Center on April 19.
Pink Zone UNLV 2009
The Lady Rebels and UNLV, along with the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, hosted Pink Zone UNLV 2009 against Wyoming on Feb. 18, to help highlight the fight against breast cancer.
National Girl's and Women In Sports Day
The UNLV athletic department hosted National Girl's and Women in Sport Day on Feb. 5. Several of the Rebel women's sports teams came out to run clinics for local kids, who then stayed around to watch the Lady Rebels upset New Mexico.
Junior Rebel Tune-Up Clinic
UNLV hosted the Junior Rebel Tune-Up Clinic on Jan. 31 prior to its win over Air Force. Over 200 kids participated in the clinic.
Lady Rebels Adopt a Family
On Wednesday, December 10, 2008 the Lady Rebels took a break from fall semester finals to give back to the Las Vegas community, and participated in the 3rd Annual Adopt a Family for S.A.F.E. House, hosted by the Jean Nidetch Women's Center.
Komen on the Go
In preparation for the 2nd Annual Pink Zone game, the Lady Rebels attended the Komen on the Go traveling exhibit when it came to UNLV in November 2008. Komen on the Go is an interactive exhibit that travels all over the United States educating people on the causes, effects and treatment of the number one killer of women, breast cancer.
Trunk or Treat
For the second year in a row the Lady Rebels participated in the University Methodist Church's Trunk of Treat Halloween celebration. The University Methodist Church provides a safe alternative to the traditional Trick-or-Treating door to door. Various church volunteers fill their vehicle trunks with candy and children go from car to car in the church parking lot filling their bags with candy. The Lady Rebels use this opportunity to mingle with members of the local community while celebrating Halloween and having fun.
Lady Rebels and the American Heart Association
UNLV will participate at the American Heart Association Annual Heart Walk Off, and appeared at the Kickoff party in June
Lady Rebels Walk At Red Rock
The Lady Rebels took a trip to Red Rock Canyon this spring as a team building exercise.
