Rebels Close Out Fall With 12th-Place Finish In Texas|

DALLAS, Texas (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV women's golf closed out its fall slate Tuesday with the final round of the Trinity Forest Invitational in Dallas, Texas, hosted by Southern Methodist University. The Rebels shot a 23-over 311 over the last 18 holes to finish in 12th at 63-over 927.
UNLV's top finisher was freshman Polly Mack at tied for 21st at 13-over 229, while junior Elizabeth Prior came in two shots behind her at 15-over 231 to tie for 30th.
Houston held a five-shot lead over Kansas State heading into Tuesday's final round but the Wildcats leapfrogged the Cougars to win the tournament by two shots at 29-over 893. Individually, Kansas State's Reid Isaac was the wire-to-wire winner, finishing alone at the top as the only player to shoot under par for the tournament at 1-under 215.
REBEL OF THE DAY: Mack was the most consistent Rebel during the fall season, particularly over the month of October with three top-25 finishes, including two in the top-10.
