LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Celebrating its 11th anniversary as a program, the UNLV women's golf team qualified for its 10th straight NCAA Regional appearance and is the No. 16 seed at the West Regional, which will be played at the Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colo., May 10-12 (hosted by Colorado). The 72 teams and 18 individuals vying for a berth in the championship finals were announced Monday by the NCAA Division I Women's Golf Committee.
"We are extremely honored to be selected to the NCAA Regionals," said UNLV head coach Amy Bush, who is in her second year leading the Rebel program. "Our student-athletes have worked very hard all season and we are looking forward to a great regional championship."

The Rebels had two individuals that recorded top-10 finishes in freshman Dana Finkelstein, who tied for third place, three shots back, and senior Bethany Calvo, who finished ninth.
Finkelstein, along with fellow freshman Mayko Chwen Wang, earned 2012 MW Co-Freshmen of the Year honors, marking just the second time in conference history that a freshman duo shared the award and first by teammates. Finkelstein and Wang also were selected to the All-MW squad, which was announced following the league championship.
A practice round will be held at the regional on Wednesday, May 9, followed by first-round action on Thursday, May 10.
