Jenna Huff is one of the top goalkeepers in MWC history, and is the only one to earn all-conference honors three times. She is UNLV's all-time leader in career shutouts (26), saves (305) and is second in GAA (0.90). Despite breaking her foot as a senior, she came back to post an amazing 0.34 GAA over the final 10 games to lead UNLV to the MWC Tournament championship and NCAA Tournament. She was also a Soccer Buzz All-Region 3rd Team selection in 2004.
Huff, a native of Huntington Beach, Calif., will graduate this December with a degree in kinesiology.
(2005 - Senior):Missed the first 10 games of the year after breaking her foot in the preseason, but returned to give UNLV an outstanding finish to the season ... played in the last 13 games of the year, and started the last 10, and led UNLV to a 10-3 mark over that stretch ... gave up only four goals the entire season, and her GAA of 0.34 shattered her previous school record ... would have ranked third in the nation in GAA if she had played 50 more minutes ... also posted six shutouts during the year ... earned MWC All-Conference first team honors, and was named to the MWC All-Tournament Team.
(2004 - Junior): Established herself as the top goalie in UNLV history after an all-conference season in which she shattered the school record for GAA at 0.76 and also broke the record for shutouts with eight ... allowed just 15 goals for the year, and finished with 88 saves on the way to earning All-MWC first team honors ... finished ranked in the top three in the MWC in all three categories ... named MWC Defensive Player of the Week twice, the first on Sept. 7 after posting shutouts over Northern Arizona and Montana, and the second on Nov. 1 after holding San Diego State scoreless in a 3-0 win that clinched the MWC regular-season crown for the Rebels ... holds UNLV career records for shutouts (20), GAA (1.02) and is second in saves (267).
(2003 - Sophomore): Set then school records for goals against average (1.09), shutouts (seven), and just missed the school record for saves in a season by two (112), despite only starting in 17 games (19 total appearances) ... finished ranked in the top three in the MWC in all three categories, and was named to the All-MWC Second Team ... posted eight saves in a scoreless double-overtime tie against #17 Utah in the MWC semifinals (Nov. 6) ... was named MWC Player of the Week after shutting out San Diego State (1-0) on Nov. 1 ... named to the WPSL All-Stars First Team as a member of the Las Vegas Tabagators.
(2002 - Freshman): Played in 16 games and started 13 ... set a school record with a 1.28 goals against average ... also recorded a school-record tying five shutouts.
High School: Helped Edison High to two-time Sunset League championships and the Division II CIF championship as a senior ... named first team All-Sunset League in 2001 ... CIF Best Defensive Player ... also league's Best Defensive Player ... Sportsmanship and Hall of Fame Award recipient ... Golden Key nominee ... honored with Character Coalition Award.
Club: A member of the Santa Anita Strikers, the No. 1 ranked club team in the country ... played for the California South ODP team.
