Women's basketball junior Dakota Gonzalez earns Rebel of the Week honors after leading the Rebels to two wins last week.


Sender, Magnin Earn NSCAA Scholar Honors

Seniors Lily Sender and Jordan Magnin were named to NSCAA Scholar All-West Region teams while Sender earned the program's second NSCAA Scholar All-America selection.


Sender Earns Program's First NSCAA All-America Nod

Forward Lily Sender becomes the first Rebel women's soccer player in program history to earn NSCAA All-America honors after her breakout senior season.


Akubuilo, Sender Earn All-Region Honors

Junior Chidera Akubuilo and senior Lily Sender become the program's first-ever NSCAA All-Pacific Region First Team selections.

(2016-Senior): Had a breakout senior season, playing in all 23 games with 17 starts ... After registering three points in her previous three seasons combined, led the team in goals and points and was third in assists ... Her 15 goals and 38 points led the Mountain West Conference and set new single-season program records in both categories ... Named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 31 after recording program's first hat trick since 2010 in a 4-2 win at Nevada, Reno that clinched the MW regular season title ... Named UNLV's Oustanding Rebel of the Week and to's National Team of the Week that week ... Also earned Honorable Mention for's National Team of the Week on Sept. 18 ... Tied a single-game assists record with three assists in a 6-0 win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Aug. 21 ... Only had four games all year where she didn't at least register a goal and/or an assist ... Had two multi-goal games (vs. Colorado College and Reno) ... Became the third player in program history to earn Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year honors ... Was a Mountain West All-Conference First Team selection ... Became the first player in program history to earn NSCAA All-American honors ... Along with Chidera Akubuilo, also became first player to earn NSCAA All-Region First Team honors ... First player in the program since 2013 to be named to CoSIDA's All-District team and became the first player in program history to be named a CoSIDA Academic All-American ... Named an NSCAA Scholar All-District First Team selection and became the second player in program history to earn NSCAA Scholar All-America honors. 

Played in 16 games with one start…Scored the game winning goal at New Mexico (Oct. 4)…Assisted on a goal in a 3-0 win against Colorado State (Oct. 18)…Placed six of 12 shots on goal.

(2014-Sophomore): Played in one game...attempted one shot.

(2013-Freshman):: Made 11 appearances in her first year ... Attempted two shots.

High School: Played three years of soccer for St. Andrews Priory, for a squad that was the Division 2 state champions, before concentrating on her club career.

Club: Member of the Honolulu Bulls in 2010 and 2012-13 along with classmate Brittney Gideon ... Helped the team to a second-place finish in the State Cup the first two years and to the championship in 2013 ... Reached the regionals in 2012, and the regional semifinals in 2013.

Personal: Lily Noelani Sender ... Born on Sept. 22. 1995 in Honolulu, Hawaii, ... Daughter of John Sender and Susan McClintock ... Has one brother, Max (26) and one sister, Nora (20) ... Majoring in mechanical engineering.
