Stephanie Rigamat begins her second season on the Rebel coaching staff after being hired in July of 2004.

Rigamat came to UNLV after an impressive career as a player, as she was a member of the US National Team in 2001, and also was a member of the WUSA's Washington Freedom, where she helped the team to a championship runner-up finish for the 2002 Founder's Cup. She began her college career at UC Irvine, where she was a two-time All-Big West selection while leading the Anteaters to the 1997 conference championship.

Rigamat then finished her collegiate career at UCLA, and led the team in scoring her last two seasons while helping the Bruins to a national championship runner-up finish at the 2000 College Cup, and to the final eight of the 2001 NCAA Tournament. She was also a second team All-America selection her senior season.

She spent the 2003 season working as a volunteer assistant soccer coach for UCLA, which finished the season 20-2-3 and advanced to the NCAA College Cup before falling to eventual champion North Carolina. Rigamat was also head coach for the Santa Anita GU16 Strikers since September of 2003 until the summer of 2004.
