Sept. 1, 2017
SACRAMENTO, California (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV women's soccer found itself on the wrong end of some late game heroics as Sacramento State scored with less than three minutes remaining in regulation Friday afternoon to hand the Rebels their first defeat of the 2017 season. UNLV also suffered its first shutout of the season and is now 4-1, while Sacramento State improves to 2-2.
The Rebels entered the game with a top-10 offense in the country, but Sacramento State found a way to shut them down, limiting them to single digit shots for the first time this year.
