On Saturday, April 13th, the UNLV women's soccer players and coaches hosted a clinic for over 75 kids at Peter Johann Memorial Field on the UNLV campus.

The clinic, which was open to both boys and girls ages 5-12, saw the Rebels run several types of soccer stations over the first hour. Following that, the team played Utah State in a spring contest and posted a 2-0 victory.

"The UNLV women's soccer team always enjoys being involved with our community in any way possible," said senior Kylie Wassell. "The clinic provided us with the opportunity to interact with kids and be positive role models for them. By coaching soccer, the kids can learn from us, but we can also learn from them and improve our game. We hope to see more kids each time and look forward to helping the community at future women's soccer events."

The morning concluded with the Rebels signing autographs for the kids in the clinic. It was successful day for all involved, while the local Las Vegas soccer community got to spend time with head coach Michael Coll, his staff and the UNLV team as well.
