LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - For the fifth time in her career and third time this season UNLV's Ashleigh Shoughro has been named Mountain West Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced by the league office on Monday.

Shoughro, a senior forward and native of Las Vegas, posted three goals for six points over the weekend in leading UNLV to a pair of conference victories, and she provided the game-winning score in both. Against Wyoming on Oct. 14, her goal with under seven minutes to play broke a 2-2 tie and gave UNLV a 3-2 victory. She followed that with a two-goal performance against Air Force on Saturday on her Senior Day for a 3-0 victory.

Her two goals against the Falcons broke three school records, as Shoughro now holds the UNLV single season record in goals with 13, the career goals record with 26, and the season points mark with 29. She also tied the UNLV points mark of 68 with three games still to go in the regular season. Shoughro currently leads the MWC in both goals and points.

UNLV (10-5, 2-2 MWC) will play a pair of road games this week at two schools in their final year of the conference. The Rebels will face BYU on Thursday at 6 pm (PT) in Provo, Utah, and follow that with a Saturday, 12 pm (PT) contest at Utah in Salt Lake City.
