UNLV softball’s Morgan Ettinger threw her second complete game of the season and allowed only one earned run, three hits and no walks with three strikeouts.

UNLV: One of the better power hitters in UNLV history during her four years donning the Scarlet and Grey, ranking ninth in program history in home runs with 30 and fifth in slugging percentage (.553).…Recorded 32 career multiple-hit games and 38 multiple-RBI games…A three-time Mountain West All-Conference Team selection (2013-15) ... A one-time MW Player of the Week (April 22, 2014) ... A three-time Spring Academic All-MW Team member (2013-15) ... Named twice to the MW's Scholar-Athlete Award (2012-13 and 2013-14).

2016: Started in 30 of 43 games played with four at catcher and the rest as the designated player…Had 23 RBI, five doubles, two triples, three home runs and a .426 slugging percentage…Turned in seven multiple-hit games with a season-high three hits against Southern Utah (March 3)…Registered seven multiple-RBI games, including two three-RBI performances versus Utah Valley (Feb. 14) and Southern Utah…Hit the game winning RBI against New Mexico (April 23) and scored the game winning run against Drake (March 5).

2015: Named to the All-Mountain West Conference Second Team ... Started in 45 of 48 contests with 17 at first base, 16 as the designated player and with 12 at catcher ... Second on the team in home runs (nine) and game-winning RBIs (3), ... Finished third for slugging percentage (.579), hits (39), RBI (31) and putouts (129) ... Batted .310 with 17 runs and 16 extra-base hits (seven doubles and nine home runs) ... Had eight multi-hit games, which included a season-best three at San Diego State (Mar. 20) and Utah State (Apr. 3) ... Had eight multiple-RBI games, including a season-high five against Boise State (Apr. 7) ... Had three multiple-run games ... Owned two hitting streaks of at least five game, including a seven-game streak that started against Eastern Kentucky (Mar. 7) ... Had 15 walks and one stolen base.

2014: Tabbed to the Mountain West's All-Conference Second Team ... Ranked within the top 100 of three different NCAA statistics: 25th in home runs per game (0.31), 39th in home runs (15) and 83rd in slugging percentage (.685) ... Started 46 of 49 contests played in with all 46 behind the plate ... Led the team in home runs ... Tied for the team lead in game-winning hits/RBI (five), three of which were home runs: solo home runs against Georgetown (March 9), solo home run against Boise State (April 6) and grand slam against New Mexico (April 18) ... Batted .268 with 19 hits, seven of which went for extra bases (four doubles and three home runs) ... Had 13 RBI and scored five runs ... Had three multiple-hit games, which included a season-high three hits against Nevada, Reno (April 28) ... Had three multiple-RBI games, which included a season-high three RBI against Fresno State (April 6) ... Had two game-winning hits/RBI: sac fly against Texas Tech (March 22) and three-run double against Fresno State (April 6) ... Owned one hitting streak of seven games that began against Tulsa (March 23) and produced a .533 batting average, eight hits, one multiple-hit game, seven RBI and eight runs ... Had one walk and two stolen bases.
